Meet the Team

OUR NORTH LONDON LANDSCAPING TEAM

Our team of trained landscape gardeners spend most of our time in Haringey, Islington, Camden and Hackney and we especially like working in the Crouch End area where we are part of the local community.

Alys Elphick

Alys joined the business in 2010 during holidays at home in Haringey while studying for her BA at the University of East Anglia. She then completed a diploma in Garden Design at Capel Manor College. Alys is now a partner in the business and manages all garden design and landscaping, including project management on every job we do.

Steve Hooper

Steve originally set up the business from his family home in North London in 1981. Before this he gained a post-graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture at City of Birmingham Polytechnic followed by working with a Maurice Pickering Associates (Landscape Architects and Consultants). He then put his passion, skills and experience into growing his own landscaping company under his personal values. Steve has recently made the move towards retirement but he is still on hand as a consultant here and with our partner business, Steve Hooper Treework.

Phil Rowley

Phil Rowley began working for us in the mid 1990s and brought a vast wealth of experience with him. He has a qualification in Hard Landscaping from City and Guilds and has been building up skills in the field for decades. Phil is a partner and head landscaper, supervising the majority of our projects.
